Menotaur FOTD

Hi all,

I built my whole look around this beautiful lippie. It's Laqa Lip Lube in Menotaur and is a crayon type thing. I sw*pped for one and am already trying to sw*p for another one. Perfect bold magenta purple with a subtle minty tingle.

Smoked Ruby FOTD

Hi all,

I just couldn't wait any longer to use this eyeshadow, even just for a little shopping on a wet Bank Holiday and then a relaxing afternoon indoors. It looks more copper in the last pic but it's definitely more red.

Maneater FOTD

Hi all,

Time to turn to my favourite pick-me-up, a red lipstick and I'm in love with this one. In fact, Illamasqua haven't disappointed me yet. I need my whole wishlist!

Shattered FOTD and more upsetting news

Hi all,

Purple and taupe today as I couldn't resist trying out the UD Shattered Face Case. Hated the lip colour on me but I love the eyeshadows and blushes.

As for the upsetting news, I nearly passed out whilst shopping today. I was fine when all of a sudden, everything seemed to shift around. Thankfully, it passed quickly but it was absolutely terrifying. Off to the doc again next week for more tests. So sick of all this now.

Another day, another lippie fail FOTD and bonus sad update

Hi all,

Another disappointing lip product sadly. It was too slippy and greasy and would not apply evenly no matter what I did so I'm afraid it'll have to go. Is there no such thing as vampy DS brand lip colours with nice textures? They all seem to be so patchy and greasy.

And the bonus sad update is this: My doc won't help me any more. I went to see him today as I now feel ill all the time and he just gave me anti-nausea tablets, blamed it on my 'deep clinical depression' and gave me a counselling leaflet. I feel constantly woozy and sick, I ache all over and feel exhausted all the time. I have no social life as I have to keep cancelling as I don't feel well enough. It might not seem serious to him but it's ruining my life. I feel so completely alone in all this.

Our very own vampy requested I do a tulip placement eye look with red and black but sadly, the eyeshadow I used was more of a berry shade than red. Fortunately, it still looks ok. Will be trying Pure Luxe Molten next time.

Lost Girl Kenzi FOTD

Hi all,

This is a look I've been planning on duping for a while and I finally got around to it today. For those that don't know who Kenzi is, here is a pic of her:

Her look always featured a light shimmery lid, a soft cut crease and loads of smoky eyeliner with soft cheeks and lips. I hope I did a good job.

Purple and sheer teal FOTD

Hi all,

Decided to try something a little different today so I did my usual purple look but added sheer teal touches to it (brow bone and inner corner, iridescent teal top coat on my lashes and lipgloss with a teal duochrome over my lipstick) to make it more unique. I love how it came out!
