Creamy eyes/berry lips FOTD

Hi all,

I decided to go with a vampy lip colour even though I have a nasty spot. I also tried 2 shades of cream eyeshadow blended together with liner smudged along the upper lashline with it.

Fresh and Glowy FOTD plus health update

Hi all,

My stupid neck pain woke me up at 5.30am after being kept awake by noisy neighbours til the early hours so I decided to go for something fresh and glowy with cream products. Once again, it's a ligament issue for me. The doc said I've over-extended myself and caused a nasty inflammation in the ligaments that hold the vertebrae together at the top of my spine. He had a medical student with him and he knew something was very wrong when he pulled back my hair to look at my neck and shoulder and said to the student that from the neck down into the shoulder should be a nice curve but mine is rock hard and not a smooth curve at all. *sigh* I'm on painkillers as well as anti-inflammatories. Oh, and my dodgy elbow is tendonitis. I'm feeling really low about my health.

Not like I planned it FOTD

Hi all,

For the 2nd day in a row, my eye make-up didn't turn out as planned. The lid shade was meant to be much darker. I'll try it without Pixie Epoxy next time. As for the lip, it made me realise that very nude shades aren't as flattering on me as creamy light pinks.

Red Asp FOTD

I decided to try something a little different today. I used eyeshadows with green duochromes to make the look more unique. Hope you like it.

Royale Jewels FOTD

Hi all,

I decided to try another different type of placement for me today and kind of graduated from a silvery lilac to a dark purple across my lid, matched with purple-pink cheeks and lips. Methinks I need more StarGazer make-up as I'm in love with the blush. Had to use a skunk brush to apply though as it's very pigmented. It's in the old style screw top container so is no doubt discontinued (just my luck!).

When someone mentioned the combination of gold and berry eyeshadows, I just had to try it out. The Sonia Kashuk palette is ridiculously pigmented and blends like a dream. Now I'm lemming the matte neutral one, too.

C'Mon Chameleon FOTD

I'm trying to use items I've been neglecting lately and Catrice eyeshadow in C'Mon Chameleon is one of them. For me, this is far superior to MAC Club as it has less red in it. For this look, I applied it over a matte deep brown cream base and the effect is so pretty.

Just something quick and easy with most of the emphasis on my lips. I have to say that the shade I used as a liner is a dead on dupe of MAC Sketch. I'm very impressed with the palette overall.

I decided to do a warm chocolate toned eye today with my red lips rather than a nude or taupe one. I feel a little 1990s but not in bad way.
