I'm trying to lessen my craving for the UD Naked 3 palette by trying a cheaper look-a-like (almost, though not an exact dupe) and it's working. I don't think I'd use it that much. Naked 2 however, I'm still lemming big time!

Another tulip placement eye look and this time with purple blush and lips. Well, pretty much purple everything actually.

Goldilux FOTD

Hi all,

I decided it was about time I tried my sample of Sugarpill Goldilux and I love it! So intense and sparkly. Instead of going for a nude cheek and lip, I went for a soft pink cheek and a sheer deep red lip for a change.

Intense Suedette FOTD

Hi all,

I decided it was time to step out of my smoky comfort zone and try some bright colours and I needed cheering up (up most of the night with an upset stomach thanks to the antacids I was taking to help my acid reflux) so this seemed a good way to combine the 2. Please forgive the lighting, it's really hard to get decent pics in such changeable weather but I did my best.

Fascinating Ruby FOTD

Hi all,

Lots of new goodies to try today (new to me anyway. They were swaps or pressies). I think I loved everything I used and that's rare for me. The Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier in Surat is pigmented, creamy, easy to blend and doesn't crease at all and the colour is gorgeous! UK ladies, these have been spotted recently in TKMaxx for £1.99! The blush is just lovely. Pigmented and glowy though I almost didn't want to love it as Chanel are out of my price range. Finally, the lipstick: OMG, it smells like rose Turkish Delight! I love both the colour and the texture. Again, it's Chanel so I'll dread using up my little sample.

Russet Burlesque FOTD

Hi all,

Finally, I found a gorgeous burgundy cream eyeshadow! Well, it's a mousse actually and you'll have to be quick if you want one. They're currently on offer in M&S for £3 along with a gorgeous deep brown with red sparkles called Chocolate. No creasing whatsoever.

My first Clinique eyeshadows FOTD

Hi all,

I received a lovely GWP Clinique palette recently and couldn't wait to try it. If you like smoky taupey-plums, you need this! The quality is amazing. I hadn't been lemming any Clinique eye products but I am now! Doesn't seem to have a name though, just the individual eyeshadow names. Predictably, I adore the lipstick. Not good as it's 1.Very high end and 2.Only a mini one.

Midnight Kisses FOTD

I finally got around to trying something by Beauty From The Earth (BFTE) today. It's their eyeshadow in Midnight Kisses. Holy crap is it gorgeous! Definitely a brand I'd love to try more from. I also did a little bit of lipstick alchemy by patting Fyrinnae Sakura eyeshadow on top.

I couldn't wait any longer to try out one of my Xmas pressies, Revlon Matte Balm Stain in Shameless. It definitely doesn't disappoint! Matte but not dry looking, pigmented and with a nice mint flavour as well.

Accent Red FOTD

Hi all,

I'm still trying to get back into the swing of regular FOTDs but sadly, the weather here is dreadful so it's really hard to get good pics in such grey light. I loved everything I used today including the very high end stuff which isn't good. The blush is a gorgeous sheeny nude colour that goes on like a dream and has a lovely glowy finish and the lipstick is a dream! Smooth, pigmented and creamy. Sheered out, it's a great nude without being too nude for me. So much for my small, semi realistic wishlist.
